Clearer checkout — and about payment-failed emails

announcementfix/billing
+

Lynote sells one-time token packs and 7-day video passes only — there is no subscription.

A few users reported receiving Stripe emails saying a payment failed even though they did not mean to buy anything. Those messages come from Stripe when a charge is attempted and does not go through; opening pricing alone does not charge you.

We updated checkout so payment is only prepared after you choose Continue to payment, pricing uses explicit Buy buttons, and copy states clearly that nothing renews and you are not charged until you click Pay.

If you received a failure email and did not complete a purchase, you were not charged. Reply to hello@lynote-ai.com with the email date and we can check Stripe for your account.

  • One-time purchases only — no subscription
  • Payment Intent created only after Continue to payment
  • Checkout disclaimer: not charged until Pay
  • 7-day passes labeled one-time, does not renew
